NEW CLIENT POLICY

Thank you for choosing Nuance Aesthetics. We are happy to have you as a new patient. For new patients, a consultation fee of $100 will be charged. However, existing patients seeking a different service or treatment will not be charged the consultation fee. The consultation fee will be credited towards the first treatment cost if it is reserved within 2 weeks of the consultation. Please note that if you cancel your appointment or fail to attend the consultation, the fee will not be refunded. The consultation fee is non-transferable and cannot be applied towards the cost of any other service or treatment. Kindly be advised that the consultation fee policy is subject to change without prior notice.

CONFIRMING YOUR APPOINTMENT

We will send you an appointment confirmation via text/email 72-hours prior to your appointment. If you cannot make your appointment, please call or text   801.557.5200  to avoid a cancellation/no show fee.

LATE ARRIVALS

Please arrive on time for your appointment so we stay on schedule. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your appointment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require 48 hours advance notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. In the event of a no-show or less than 48 hours’ notice to cancel/reschedule your appointment a credit card will be required to rebook your appointment. A $100 fee will be assessed in the event of a second no-show or cancellation in less than 48 hours.

FINANCIAL POLICY

Services: Payment for all services is due at time of service.  The services we provide are considered aesthetic and are not covered by insurance. Results are not guaranteed and vary from patient to patient. We accept cash, all major credit cards and offer cherry financing. Payment is final and no refunds are given on services rendered. 

Retail: You may exchange a defective product within 14 days of purchase date. We do not accept returns on opened or partially used products. 

Gift Cards: All sales are final on gift card purchases. No refunds are given. 

PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is a high priority to us.  We do everything we can to protect your personal information.  Although technically our practice is not a HIPAA covered entity, we abide by the tenets of HIPAA which is a government mandated policy regarding protecting personal health information.  We utilize secure computer data storage and internet connections for information management. In the unlikely event that there is a breach of our systems, we will notify you of any concerns in a prompt manner.   We will never share any of your personal information without your specific written instructions from you to do so.  If you would like, a copy of the full privacy policy can be emailed to you.  Please inform us if you find this useful.

PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

Baseline and post-treatment photographs are a normal part of our documentation.  These photographs are a part of your medical record and will not be shared in any manner without your express written permission.  We reserve the right to decline to treat if you decline to be photographed.

CHILDREN POLICY

For the safety of our staff, clients, and your children we ask that you make childcare arrangements prior to your appointment. Although we love kids, it’s important to us at Nuance to keep a calm, safe and relaxing environment for everyone.

Jackson Rhudy, MD

Owner/Medical Director

Dr. Jackson Rhudy is a board-certified physician who has been practicing in Salt Lake since 1974. After an initial career in emergency medicine, he developed an interest in the new technologies emerging in the field of aesthetics utilizing non-surgical techniques such as lasers, Botox, and injectable fillers. He sought training from leading experts in the aesthetic field at multiple locations in the US and Europe and in 2000 he founded an aesthetic practice called Light Touch Laser Skin Care Center. It rapidly became a leading aesthetic practice in the Salt Lake City area. In 2010, he sold the practice and focused on his other endeavor, Optimum Clinical Research– a private research site that performs clinical trials on new pharmaceutical drugs. But continuing demand from former aesthetic patients led to the formation of a new aesthetic practice in July 2015. Reuniting with a former colleague, Jill Miller, they started Nuance Aesthetics—a practice devoted to providing excellence in the field of non-surgical aesthetics by offering experience and expertise with the utmost integrity. Dr. Rhudy maintains his board certification in emergency medicine and is the only physician in Salt Lake City who is board certified in laser surgery.

When Dr Rhudy isn’t in the office, he loves riding his bike up City Creek. He has always had a passion for learning and growing in the medical field which is why he spends a lot of free time researching the latest treatments and technology that keeps Nuance ahead of the curve.
