Transform and Renew

PRF

PRF is a new generation of PRP or platelet-rich plasma. PRF is platelet-rich fibrin and contains a very high concentration of white blood cells, fibrin, and a small number of stem cells. Fibrin is a protein in your blood that helps blood clot during bleeding and wound healing. In addition, it has growth factors that promote wound healing and trigger collagen production.

PRF faqs

The only pain involved is with micro needling or injection. We will use numbing cream to give you more comfort.

Some providers prefer PRF since it does not have any anticoagulants and lasts longer.

You will start seeing PRF treatment results about one to two months after the treatment. Collagen will continue to build over the next year.

Those who want to rejuvenate their skin naturally would be good candidates for PRF treatments. However, if you have a bleeding disorder and take blood thinners, you should avoid PRF.

PRF has a side effect of redness, bruising and pain caused by the method used. In addition, you may experience puffiness when used under the eyes, but this only lasts four to five days.

PRF injections are totally different. They trigger collagen products and do not add volume to injected areas.

Depending on your unique needs and the application methods used, you may need a series of treatments followed by routine maintenance treatments. Treatments will be discussed at your consultation.

There is little to no downtime with PRF applied topically or via injections. However, you may experience redness, swelling, and bruising, and do avoid direct sun exposure.

You can treat any side effects using an old compress and over-the-counter pain medication. Always use skin protection after treatment.

Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for two weeks or more before treatments. Stay hydrated and don’t consume alcoholic beverages prior to treatment.

PRF is used to speed up healing. The platelets in PRF also trigger natural tissue regeneration.

PRF is obtained from your blood. Unlike fillers, your body will not recognize PRF as foreign material, so there is little rejection, allergic reactions, or side effects.

PRF can rejuvenate your skin naturally. It addresses pigmentation and facial volume concerns. In addition, PRF will help smooth fine lines and wrinkles on your face.

PRF can treat alopecia and other hair loss or hair thinning conditions. It slows down hair loss and stimulates growth. PRF is also used to heal wounds since it increases tissue growth. It also has low risks, and clinical trials have been very successful.

Filler is not a permanent solution, and the longevity of results is different from patient to patient. Result longevity depends on how your body metabolizes the product.

Bruising and swelling may occur. Allow two weeks before any special occasion or event to ensure healing.

Vitrase is a hyaluronidase injection that is often used with fluids injected into the body to treat dehydration. It is also an aid in helping your body absorb other injected medications. The body naturally breaks down hyaluronic acid fillers, but they can take about six months. Vitrase speeds up the absorption process and helps dermal fillers absorb quicker.

Fast absorption is helpful if you are having allergic reactions, the Filler is creating lumps and bumps, or you no longer want the Filler in your face or body.
