WHAT IS BOTOX®?

Botox is a prescription medication that temporarily relaxes the facial muscle. It’s used for both moderate to severe wrinkles; forehead furrows, glabellar lines, and crow’s feet. Botox prevents the repetitive muscle movement. As your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines. Botox will help smooth out these type of wrinkles by relaxing tense muscles so you can see results after just one treatment!

WHAT DOES A BOTOX INJECTION FEEL LIKE? IS IT PAINFUL?

Botox injections are quick and virtually pain-free. Botox is injected using a needle with an ultra-fine tip. When performed by a skilled, licensed practitioner, Botox looks natural and compliments your appearance. If you have any apprehension about your Botox treatment, communicate it with your practitioner as they may provide ways to make you more comfortable and ease your sensitivity.

HOW LONG DO BOTOX TREATMENTS LAST?

Botox treatment can help to minimize the effects of aging and reduce wrinkles. It may take up to six months after a Botox injection for wrinkle relaxation. Consistent treatments prevent new wrinkles to develop, then your maximum length of wrinkle correction is possible within three-six months!

WHAT ARE DYNAMIC WRINKLES?

During the natural aging process, it is common for both men and women to develop both static and dynamic facial wrinkles. Static wrinkles are visible when the face is at rest and can be most effectively treated with dermal fillers and other options. Dynamic wrinkles are the lines and creases that are evident during facial expressions, such as crow’s feet around the eyes and vertical forehead lines. For individuals who want to smooth their skin without surgical correction, BOTOX® and Dysport® injectable treatments can be an ideal alternative.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

No two types of wrinkles are the same, and some patients may require more than one treatment session depending on their skin condition and aesthetic goals. Our medical team will create a treatment that is customized to your needs.

HOW CAN I BENEFIT FROM BOTOX?

Botox temporarily blocks facial muscles from contracting, making all of those pesky wrinkles finally go away! We recommend using it on trouble spots like the lines between the eyebrows called “the glabella” or “crow’s feet” near the eyes in addition to more prominent problems such as furrowed brows and deep creases at corners of the mouth – also known as “smile” crinkle.

WHAT ARE BOTOX® AND DYSPORT®? HOW DO THEY DIFFER?

Both BOTOX® and Dysport® can be used to treat wrinkles, fine lines, and deep furrows in the face. By reducing the underlying muscle activity that causes wrinkles and folds in the skin, BOTOX® and Dysport® the neuromodulators softens wrinkles and folds.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME FOR BOTOX INJECTIONS?

Many patients are able to resume their regular routine right after the procedure. However, patients should avoid exposure to sunlight for at least two hours, no working out for 24 hours, no alcohol consumption for 24 hours, and no blood thinners for 24 hours.

WHEN DO BOTOX RESULTS SHOW?

Results from Botox treatments are evident within seven days. It usually takes about ten days to see the full effect, however some people will start noticing gradual improvements after just a few days!

Exceptional medical spa highly credible professionals with superior quality care and client service. Took my fiancé with me for his first time which he was highly anxious about for numerous reasons.
