WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Prior to our peel treatments, your skin will be cleansed to promote maximum skin penetration. In the next step, peel solution will be applied to treated areas in layers depending on the strength of the treatment. The solution is left to absorb into the skin for a designated amount of time and is then neutralized, aiding the skin in sloughing off the outermost layers of rough, uneven skin and revealing fresh, bright skin underneath.

HOW MUCH PEELING CAN I EXPECT WITH A CHEMICAL PEEL?

Your degree of peeling may vary depending on the degree of peel, and the condition of your skin.

HOW DO CHEMICAL PEELS IMPROVE THE SKIN?

Chemical peeling is a procedure that aims to accelerate skin exfoliation by the use of chemical substances resulting in renewed, healthier-looking skin, and a more even complexion.

WHO IS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR A CHEMICAL PEEL?

Chemical peels are appropriate for patients with mild-to-moderate skin imperfections that result from skin aging and sun exposure, such as fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and texture.

WHEN CAN I RESUME MY REGULAR SKIN CARE REGIMEN?

You can resume the use of your regular treatment products after you have completely finished peeling. Mild skincare free of retinols, or active ingredients for at least one week post treatment, is usually suggested.

ARE CHEMICAL PEELS SAFE?

Yes, chemical peels are considered safe when performed by a qualified and experienced medical professional. It is important to remember to follow pre and post-procedure instructions from your provider to ensure the best possible results with minimal side effects. Sun protection is also important before and after the procedure to help protect your skin from further damage. The most common side effects are minor redness, swelling, and peeling, which should subside within a few days.

HOW LONG WILL THE EFFECTS OF MY CHEMICAL PEEL LAST?

Even though a single peel can reduce some of the signs of aging, the aging process begins again once the skin has healed. Therefore, to maintain long-term improvement, you will need to plan on going maintenance treatments, and proper skincare.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM CHEMICAL PEELS?

Chemical peels address the visible skin imperfections that result from skin aging and sun exposure, such as fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and texture. Peels also address skin tone unevenness, melasma, and acne.

HOW CAN I PROTECT MY SKIN POST-PEEL?

Since the new skin is more susceptible to sunburn, extra precautions should be taken to limit sun exposure for at least one week after the peel. It is imperative to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen product with an SPF of 30 or higher.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?

Best results are achieved by doing a series of 3 peels initially followed by maintenance peels every 3-4 months

Exceptional medical spa highly credible professionals with superior quality care and client service. Took my fiancé with me for his first time which he was highly anxious about for numerous reasons. Gohar was amazing. She soothed him, introducing him to Dr. Rudy, and walked him through all of the beginner basics, even got him laugh and relax re male stigma with a "bro-tox" joke. We both had a great experience with Gohar's expertise at facial Botox. I also tried botox in my armpit to fully eliminate sweating and the need for deodorant (I hate chemicals and laundry stains) and all I'll say is worth every penny! She hooked us up and worked some crazy magic / witchcraft. Highly satisfied and recommend. I essentially feel like I snacked on kids while they dream hahah. Jokes, but really.
