Prior to treatment use sunscreen and physical sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sun protective clothing, etc)
4 weeks prior to treatment avoid extended sun exposure (beach, sunbathing, lakes, etc), we want to see you without a tan, normal day sun exposure is ok as long as you are close to your normal/natural skin color.
1 week prior: discontinue exfoliants and skin irritants (waxing, hydroxy acids, Tretinoin/retinols, etc.).
Inform your provider if you have been prescribed or have been taking Accutane within the past 6 months.
Inform your provider of any medications or medical conditions that might sensitize you to light, effect healing, or thin your blood.
If you have a history of herpes/cold sores near the treatment area inform your provider so they can evaluate and prescribe medication if needed.
No active cold sores, open wounds, or other skin conditions in the area being treated.
Come to treatment with cleansed skin, no makeup or skincare products on skin.
No recent Botox/Fillers/Sculptra/Kybella within 2 weeks of treatment.
Freshly share areas being treated that have coarse hair, hair can effect laser results.
Avoid sunless tanner 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Please inform your provider of any other skin conditions prior to booking a treatment.
Do not expose skin to direct sunlight for 1 day, sunscreen is a must daily.
Wear wide brim hat, sun protective clothing, sunglasses, etc.
Avoid aggressive scrubbing or use of exfoliants for 1 week after treatments. Normal cleaning is ok.
1 week after treatment: discontinue exfoliants and skin irritants (waxing, hydroxy acids, Tretinoin/retinols, shaving, excess sweating, too hot/cold water, swimming pools and spas that have chemicals or chlorine)
Use a gentle cleanser twice daily
It’s normal for your skin to feel like sandpaper for around 1-2 weeks after your treatment. This is not visibly noticeable.
After your third session continue maintenance treatments over time (three times per year).
