Hylenex (filler removal) is an injectable treatment that dissolves hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. It works by breaking down the hyaluronic acid molecules, allowing them to be naturally absorbed by the body. This results in gradually reducing the filler material until it is completely gone.
Hylenex is most commonly used for those who have had injected and are looking to have them removed. The treatment is quickly making it an attractive option for those wanting to quickly and safely remove their fillers. Results can typically be seen within the first 1-2 weeks following the treatment.
