At Nuance Aesthetics + Wellness, skin analysis guides the diamond tip, suction, and SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serum selected for your concerns and goals.

Behind The Brilliance

What Is DiamondGlow?

DiamondGlow is a non-invasive dermabrasion treatment that simultaneously exfoliates dead skin cells, extracts debris from pores, and infuses the freshly resurfaced skin with a targeted cosmetic serum.

Unlike traditional facials, the recessed diamond-tipped wand resurfaces the skin’s surface while suction removes impurities and delivers a targeted serum.

Three Moves

How Does a DiamondGlow Treatment Work?

Allergan Aesthetics’ 3X1™ technology exfoliates, extracts, and infuses with each pass.

Exfoliation

Interchangeable diamond tips provide controlled exfoliation selected for your skin type and tolerance.

Extraction

Calibrated suction lifts oil, dead skin cells, and impurities from pores for a deeper cleanse.

Infusion

SkinMedica Pro-Infusion Serums are delivered during exfoliation. These medical-grade serums can target hydration, brightness, visible discoloration, congestion, or signs of aging.

The DiamondGlow device is indicated for general dermabrasion and delivery of topical cosmetic serums. SkinMedica Pro-Infusion Serums are cosmetic products, not FDA-approved drugs. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

What Happens In The Chair

What Is a DiamondGlow Appointment Like?

After consultation and cleansing, your provider selects the diamond tip, suction, and targeted serum. The handpiece exfoliates, extracts, and infuses as it moves across the area. Finishing products and broad-spectrum sunscreen complete the appointment.

Most clients describe firm suction and light polishing. Mild scratching or stinging can occur, but numbing is generally unnecessary. Treatment commonly takes about 30 minutes.

Keep That Chemistry Going

How Many DiamondGlow Sessions Will I Need?

Just one DiamondGlow session may create an immediate glow. Persistent dryness, congestion, uneven tone, or sun damage may benefit from regular treatments. Sessions may be scheduled as often as every two weeks, although many clients follow a monthly plan.

How Much Does DiamondGlow Cost in Salt Lake City?

DiamondGlow cost depends on the area, device time, serum, add-ons, and single-session or series pricing. Nuance reviews your plan and current price before treatment.

DiamondGlow vs. Other Facial Treatments

DiamondGlow vs. Hydrafacial

Both exfoliate, extract, and infuse. DiamondGlow uses diamond tips and SkinMedica serums. Hydrafacial uses Vortex-Fusion technology, proprietary solutions, and options such as boosters or LED light therapy.

DiamondGlow vs. Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to remove buildup and vellus hair. DiamondGlow uses a diamond-tipped wand, suction, and serum infusion.

DiamondGlow vs. Chemical Peels and Microneedling

A chemical peel uses an exfoliating solution. Microneedling creates controlled microchannels to support collagen production. DiamondGlow focuses on surface renewal, cleansing, and hydration.

Can DiamondGlow Be Combined With Other Treatments?

DiamondGlow can complement skincare, peels, microneedling, lasers, LED light therapy, or injectables. Treatments affecting the skin barrier may need separate appointments. Nuance will plan safe timing.

Why Choose Nuance for DiamondGlow in Salt Lake City?

Nuance combines over 100 years of collective experience with relationship-focused care. The expert team customizes tip intensity, suction, serum, session frequency, and complementary care around your goals. This measured approach supports real results while respecting your natural beauty.

That level of customization matters because the skin can change with season, travel, hormones, products, and previous procedures. A setting that worked well during winter dryness may not be the right choice after summer sun exposure or during an active sensitivity flare. Nuance evaluates the skin at each visit instead of treating a past plan as permanent. Patients also receive clear guidance about home products, maintenance, and when another treatment may offer greater value. The goal is to keep skin healthy through appropriate decisions, not to schedule procedures simply because a calendar says it is time.

“I love Nuance Aesthetics! Kaira is an amazing aesthetician with years of experience and knowledge. She was so kind and helpful with suggestions on improving my skin health and appearance without being a pushy salesperson.”

DiamondGlow Frequently Asked Questions

DiamondGlow adds suction-based extraction and simultaneous SkinMedica serum infusion to controlled dermabrasion. Traditional microdermabrasion primarily exfoliates.

Neither is universally better. The devices, exfoliation, and serums differ. Your provider will consider sensitivity, congestion, hydration, and skin goals.

Most patients need no numbing. Expect firm suction, scratching, or mild stinging. Your provider can adjust the tip and suction.

Yes. Minimal downtime and an immediate glow suit event preparation. Because redness can occur, leave extra time before an important occasion.

Sessions may occur every two weeks when appropriate; many patients choose monthly treatments. Your schedule depends on sensitivity and response.

Diamond tips and suction allow customization, but sensitive skin needs evaluation. Wait if skin is inflamed, sunburned, broken, infected, or has cold sores.

Follow provider guidance. Many patients stay makeup-free that day. If approved, use clean applicators and gentle products.
